NEW RELEASE – ORDER TODAY

This book provides the inspiration and resources to take action. In these powerful lessons from the field you’ll learn best practices as well as what to avoid from many of those who have been at the forefront of bringing mindfulness to schools.

I’m pleased to have been one of the editors responsible for compiling this collection to share the wisdom of over three dozen passionate school educators. This collaborative book utilizes inspiring storytelling to give a multi-perspective exploration of the emergence of mindfulness in US education. Together they make the case for mindfulness in schools and show firsthand how establishing a foundation of mindfulness prioritizes well-being and supercharges all learning.

This book is a collaboration of Coalition of Schools Educating Mindfully (COSEM), a nonprofit that supports educators by connecting them with mindfulness-based mentors, trainings and resources for cognitive, social and emotional learning. Through local chapters, conferences, online learning summits and more, COSEM empowers educators to explore, personally practice and integrate mindfulness in their classrooms and schools.
